dark beyond the blue past the imperceptible indigo that lines the veils of dreams there is something swimming there behind the gamma ray flashes of closed eye lids its wake, the reason children lie uneasy in the night haven’t you ever asked your mother why sleep is such a tenuous thing the contents of which like a watercolor painting smeared upon an event horizon we fall into of course she might smile a kiss of the forehead the key to an untroubled mind but still something teases at your temples sometime after breakfast in the stretched out filaments of an afternoon cloud something hiding in the dark beyond the blue a familiar thing perhaps weary and failing that we’ve grown to ignore until finally at the end feeble and weak having endured the long years of life that nagging ethereal shifting space dark beyond the blue encapsulates us and as we fall into its familiar embrace everything around us becomes illuminated reminding us of all the life we never lived or ever thought to.

The Animates are particular fun to listen to and watch. Please enjoy.
